Just watch the movie. It'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry, and it'll make you think how this guy still gets it on with the ladies like some teenage playboy.

What's the movie about? Burt Munro who's at the age where he receives pension money spends 25 years of his life building a bike which originally goes at 56 miles/hr. How fast did he go eventually after his 'modifications'? 201 miles/hr. He had no brakes, his tyres were self 'modified' without meeting any safety requirements and he made his own parts with his own type of heat treatment on steel. A true engineer to me. Watch the movie and you'll see how 'outdated' his parts are when they inspect his bike for safety requirements.

Everywhere he went it seemed he made friends and you can tell in the movie, almost EVERYONE liked him to the point where they would do almost anything to help him out.
I dunno, I suppose that's the part about the movie which I liked the most. To be able to have that connection with people.

What else is special? He's from In - ver- car- gill....lol..that's how he has to say it to other people in the USA. And that's where I'll be going! Hehe..people say Invercargill is dead bored, its a hole..etc...I don't care...it's 2 months. Im going somewhere I'ev never been before, Im going to be with my friends, and Im going to be paid well, and finally, I'll get to finish my course requirements for the university.
