Sigh

A friend of mine, J was upset because another friend, M got annoyed. M accused J of actually having enough time to reply M's emails. Truth is, J is going through a lot of things right now. And since I know J's workload, I can vouch for J. Funny thing is, M didn't trust J enough to believe that J was telling the truth when J said there was really a lot to do. And the fact was, M and J had already drifted apart due to certain circumstances. Neither side took corrective measures to mend the friendship. I'm not one to say who did what, but its just the way things are. I don't know the full details, but I do hear the 'complaints'.

On another note, I'm fascinated as to why some people need to know everything. Literally. I mean, Im in NZ, and I don't know half of what's going on with my beloved friends back home in Malaysia. It doesn't mean that I don't care, rather, I get my updates when I go back. I don't have an informant or source of information. Sure, when I meet ppl on MSN, we talk about other people, other happenings..but I find it scary when someone far away knows ALMOST everything that's going on. This scenario doesn't have to apply for the case of distance separating people. Im sure I upset a friend, D when I didn't wish to D certain things. D had made it clear that there were certain questions which D didn't wish to answer, hence I thought it fair if I was given the right to exclude myself from such questions too. Well, I thought wrong. SIGH
