On Birthdays

Do some people think that their birthdays are celebrated only because their friends feel 'inclined' to do so? That the celebration, getting together, presenting of gifts and wishing of the celebrant's new age is done without sincerity? Do these people have so little faith in their friends? Just some food for thought I suppose.

I noticed some changes lately. Its funny some changes need a collective of other changes to be noticed. Im referring to people here. Used to think change was bad but inevitable. Now I just think its inevitable. Its how you deal with it that makes it 'bad' or 'good'.

no dear, it's not that they have so little faith in their friends...they have so little faith in themselves..

its funny then how some people tend to project confidence outwards without realising how little faith they have in themselves...the difficulty of having to live up towards one's own expectations sounds more difficult than living up to other's

but isn't that how it generally works? the whole swinging between the two extremes of self confidence and self doubt and insecurity. all an issue of pride....
it's how when we are alone, we doubt our worth, then overcorrect and end up being overconfident. *shrugs*
we are our own harshest critic..u think not?

i think that kinda in a conclusion, sort of :P, that we all have our issues...our imperfections..so let's just go around trying to love ppl as they are? yeah..:) Jesus managed it with us...

acceptance comes with understanding, but what if understanding is not an option with so many secrets and locked doors?
